| What things have gone wrong with the car? | Rear seat legroom is a tad on the small side. We have a kid in a babyseat so for her its great but I wouldnt want to be my size and take a long trip back there. When its really cold engine seems knocky... my Probe warms up faster and its 6 years old. | |
| General comments? | Its been a year and 20 000 km and no problems whatsoever. I have spoken with MANY Subaru owners who tell me that with regular maintenance these cars last forever. This is true of you look around and see how many 10+ year old Subarus are out there. For a young family i would highly recomend this car with the only exception being that Subaru parts and service seem to be on the procey side even for Japanese cars. Resale from what I have seen from the 1st year model is fantastic, but we dont plan on getting rid of ours for quite some time. | |
| Previous car | Have driven the CRV, RAV4, the new Hyundai (sorry dont remember the name) and the Grand Vitara. We bought the Forrester so that tells you how it compares to the others. | |
