| What things have gone wrong with the car? | Paint (chips too easily), No locking gas cap | |
| General comments? | I bought my 2001 Forester in March of 2000. It was my first new car and was a very positive buying experience. I've had absolutely no regrets and no significant problems thus far. I negotiated the price over the internet and by phone and paid about $700 over invoice. I briefly connsidered the Toyota FAV4 and Honda CRV but found too many major flaws for my liking. The only thing that I couldn't tolerate was the whoosy speakers so I've replaced those speakers with 6 1 | |
